Baptism Invitation for tweens on "beans" theme

 Προσκλητήριο Βάφτισης "Φασολάκια"
I've just finished the production of the invitations for Maria's tweens baptism! Her little beans grew up and they are ready to be baptized!
We have chosen a symbolic theme that can be easily adapted to a boy or a girl.

 Μόλις ολοκληρώθηκαν τα προσκλητήρια για τα διδυμάκια της φίλης μου της Μαρίας! Τα μικρά φασολάκια της μεγάλωσαν και σε λίγο θα βαφτιστούν!
Το θέμα επιλέξαμε να είναι συμβολικό για τα μικρά διδυμάκια και να μπορεί εύκολα να προσαρμιστεί και για αγόρι και για κορίτσι.


While working on the invitations we end up on a more vintage design and we chose curious metallic white gold 300 gr for the paper (http://www.perrakispapers.gr/) in order to give a sparkle look on the invitations. The size is 15x21 cm printed in both sides, 

 Δουλεύοντας στο θέμα αυτό καταλήξαμε σε μια πιο vintage εκδοχή και επιλέξαμε χαρτί curious metallic white gold 300gr (http://www.perrakispapers.gr/) για να αναδείξουμε το εικαστικό και να έχουμε ένα πιο λαμπερό αποτέλεσμα. Το μέγεθος του προσκλητηρίου είναι 15x21 με εκτύπωση και στις δύο όψεις. 
For the envelope we used curious metallic ice gold 120gr (http://www.perrakispapers.gr/) printed on the one side with similar design and variable data. I also thought of using my butterfly punches to cut some butterflies and stick them outside the envelope giving a 3d touch on it.

 Ο φάκελος είναι curious metallic ice gold 120gr (http://www.perrakispapers.gr/) με εκτύπωση παρεμφερούς εικαστικού, μεταβλητών δεδομένων και με επικόλληση πεταλούδας όπου το ένα της φτερό είναι ελέυθερο. Έτσι έχουμε ένα 3διαστατο αποτέλεσμα που κάνει τον φάκελο ακόμα πιο ενδιαφέρον.



This beautiful cooperation was successfuly finished today! I wish Maria's little beans to be healthy and lucky in all their lives!

Η όμορφη αυτή συνεργασία ολοκληρώθηκε με επιτυχία σήμερα! Εύχομαι τα μικρά φασολάκια της Μαρίας να είναι γερά και καλότυχα στην ζωή τους!

About the Author

Sophia has studied on scholarship Grapic Arts at Plakas Atr and Design Institute, in Athens, Greece and graduated in 1994. Since then she has been working as a graphic designer and illustrator in several Advertising and Printing agencies. In February 2012, due to maternity reasons, she quited her daily job and became a staying at home working mother.
